The Beldangi Bhutanese Refugee Camp area has been experiencing a continuous rise in temperature over the past few days. Today, the temperature has reached approximately 33°C, and with clear skies, the intensity of the sunlight is being felt even more strongly.
During the daytime, the effects of the heat are clearly visible across roads, households, and various parts of the camp. Local residents are trying to protect themselves from the scorching sun by staying in the shade, drinking plenty of water, and shifting essential outdoor work to the early morning or evening hours.
Children, elderly people, and individuals engaged in outdoor labor are particularly more vulnerable to heat-related effects, so extra precautions have been advised.
