Khem Ghale Supports Sports Development in Beldangi to Inspire Youth

Former Bhutanese Refugee in USA Donates Sports Materials to ATMA Pavitra Sports Club

Beldangi, Jhapa – Sports materials have been handed over to the ATMA Pavitra Sports Club with generous support from Mr. Khem Ghale, a former Bhutanese refugee from Beldangi, now residing in Pennsylvania, USA. A passionate sports lover, Mr. Ghale has expressed his commitment to continuing such support in the future.

The donated items include:
Volleyballs: 4 pieces
Volleyball Net: 1 piece

The handover program took place in the presence of Mr. Tika Ram Kalikote, member of the Gold Cup Organizing Committee, Mr. T.B. Rai, former Deputy Camp Secretary of Beldangi, and Mr. Mani Raj Subba, ECDC Incharge, who coordinated with the donor to facilitate the assistance.

According to the club, the support aims to promote the value of sports among youth and encourage them to stay away from drugs and other illegal activities. The initiative is expected to boost sporting spirit and healthy engagement within the community.
