Free Dental Health Camp at Beldangi Refugee Camp

August 2024 – A three-day Free Dental Health Camp has successfully concluded
benefiting over 1000 individuals from the Bhutanese Refugee Community which was
held from 14 to 16 August 2024 at the Bhutanese Refugee Settlement, Beldangi.
During the time of Free Dental Checkup, participants
received essential dental care, including check-ups, treatments, and education
on maintaining oral health. The main goal to organize Free Dental Check Camp is
to create awareness of Dental Diseases, Dental health needs to the Bhutanese
refugee population and promote overall well-being.
The Dental camp not only benefited adult Bhutanese
refugees but also perform dental check-up of small kids of aged group 3 to 6
who are studying in Early Childhood Development Center, Beldangi (ECDC). The Medical
Team has visited to the school (ECDC) and done dental check-up of all students
of ECDC Beldangi.
The organizers expressed gratitude to the
Global Foundation of America, the medical team (City Dental Hospital, Damak),
and the Settlement Management Committee, Beldangi for their collaboration in
making this event a success.
